Furthermore, this website uses Google Analytics, an advertising analysis service of Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses cookies to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, in the event that IP anonymisation is activated on this website, your IP address will be shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other signatory states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area before this happens. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On our behalf, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on the website activities and to provide us with further services related to the use of the website and the internet.

The IP address transmitted by your browser within the scope of Google Analytics is not combined with other data from Google.

You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. LinkedIn Insight Tag

A pixel (also called a “web beacon” or “pixel tag”) is a mostly invisible electronic image, usually no larger than 1 pixel x 1 pixel, that is placed on a website or in an email and used to view visitors’ online behavior on the website or when sending emails. Web beacons are provided by third party vendors. A cookie may further be stored on your computer for these purposes.

We use the LinkedIn Conversion Pixel of the LinkedIn Corporation, 1000 West Maude Avenue, Sunnyvale CA 94085, USA (“LinkedIn”) within our website for marketing purposes. This allows us to track the actions of users after they have seen or clicked on an advertisement from LinkedIn. So, we can track the effectiveness of ads for statistical and market research purposes, optimize our advertising, and improve targeting for the benefit of our users and customers (users see more relevant ads). Furthermore, this pixel serves to present interest-related advertisements (“Ads”) to our website visitors in the context of visiting the social network LinkedIn or its advertising partners.

The data collected in this way is pseudonymous for us, which means that we do not see the personal data of individual users. However, this data is stored and processed by LinkedIn, about which we inform you according to our level of knowledge. LinkedIn might associate this data with your respective account on the platform and might also use it for its own advertising purposes according to their respective policies.

The policies and opt-out options (disable these features) can be found here:

They process personal data only on our behalf and strictly according to our instructions on the basis of corresponding contracts for order processing.

Some of your data will also be processed in countries outside the European Union (“EU”) or the European Economic Area (“EEA”), where the level of data protection may generally be lower than in Europe. In these cases we ensure, e.g. through contractual agreements with our contractual partners, that an adequate level of data protection is guaranteed for your data (copy available on request), or we ask you for your express consent.

Changes to our data protection regulations

We reserve the right to adapt this data protection declaration if necessary. The new data protection declaration will then apply to your new visit.
